"As parents, we never stand so tall as when we stoop to help our children."
Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourself. Don't just think about your own affairs, but be interested in others, too, and in what they are doing. Your attitude should be the kind that was shown us by Jesus Christ.
Philippians 2: 3-5
Welcome to the Panther Mom link of claycountypanthers.tripod.com. This website was built by Jeremy Patterson, and he has offered to help us out by posting information about the Panther Moms and the activities of the week. Please take time to browse through the rest of the website. As his mom, I am very proud of Jeremy's work to make this available for all interested in Clay County Athletics.
CCHS Panther Moms meet each Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. on the home bleachers of Horn-White Stadium. Dues are $25.00. With your paid dues, you receive a Panther Mom t-shirt, a great group of friends, and the rewards of being involved in your child's activities. If you haven't paid your dues, please see Angie East, our Treasurer.
Boston Butt cooking will begin Friday morning at Harris Plumbing. We need all moms, and dads too, to help with this fund raising project. If you can't stay all day, please drop by when you can and help out.
Please watch for this feature every week! I think this will be a fun way for us to get to know more about each other!
PANTHER MOM OF THE WEEK

Angie (Williams) East is a 1982 graduate of Clay County High School. She is married to Glenn Williams. Angie has a son, Steven who lives in Opelika and three more children. Jeremy is 16 and in the 11th grade. He is a varsity football player. Twins, Erin and Barkley are 12 and in the 7th grade. They are in the band. Angie is also a grandmother! Her granddaughter, Morgan Chasity, is ten months old.

Angie is a wonderful Christian and I am proud to have her as my friend. Take a few minutes to get to know Angie. She is a great person!
If you have any ideas for our web page, let me know. I'm excited about this new avenue for Panther Moms to communicate.
Have a great week and. . .
GO BIG BLUE!
