All the scores, stats, and facts you wanna know about the greatest streak of all-time in Alabama!

1997.jpg

Clay County High School is the proud owner of probably the most coveted prize and greatest of all records in Alabama high school football. The streak began on September 15, 1994 on a seemingly insignificant regular season contest against Elmore County. A game in which Clay County won 28-7. On October 17, 1997 the panthers finally ended the 50 game win streak record that Verbena High School had set from 1943-1947. Clay County defeated the Reeltown Rebels on that night 43-16 and own the greatest streak in Alabama High School sports history, a streak which many of us may never see be broken.
