OUTLOOK: Rebounded from a back injury in 1999 to start every game last season one of the most experienced players on this year's team one of the team's strongest players versatile enough to play tackle or end will be the anchor of a talented defensive front.

2000: Earned second-team all-SFL honors after starting every game for the Trojans finished with 42 tackles, including 18 solo, and had six tackles for a loss of 29 yards had 12 QB hurries and five sacks, the latter of which ranked eighth in the SFL recorded a season-high nine tackles, including five solo, against McNeese State on Nov. 11 had seven tackles each against Jacksonville State on Nov. 18 and in the Trojans I-AA playoff game against Appalachian State on Nov. 25 recorded a pair of sacks against Appalachian State in the teams' playoff meeting recorded four QB hurries against Sam Houston State on Oct. 21.

1999: Started the first six games before an injury cut his season short . . . made 26 tackles, three for loss, and two sacks . . . had eight quarterback hurries.

1998: Played in all 12 games for the Trojans last season as a redshirt freshman, including the Division I-AA playoff game at FAMU . . . had 26 total tackles, including three for losses, totaling 11 yards lost . . . also had two-and-a-half sacks, 10 quarterback hurries and a pass break-up . . . had two unassisted tackles and a sack in the post-season against the Rattlers.

PREP: Was a three-year starter for the three-time Class 2A state champion Clay County High School . . . played for coach Danny Horn . . . posted 144 tackles (85 solo, 59 assisted), caused two fumbles and returned two fumbles for touchdowns as a senior . . . as a junior, recorded 107 tackles, caused and recovered two fumbles, returning one for a score . . . made 176 tackles with two interceptions and four sacks in his first two seasons of high school . . . 1996 all-state selection.
